"Seems weird to be helping myself to anything even after all this time here. Keep expecting us to run out of crap," he said around a mouthful of tiny sandwich. It was really fuckin' good. He didn't know meat could taste that good. Maybe it was the bread. Probably. Didn't matter what it was, it was good. He was sure this was gonna cost him somehow and he still didn't have any pre-war money to pay anyone. Maybe the guy would accept a favor.
