[Piotr & Mac] The Arts and Crafts Movement

[[Continued from Here]]

The walk back to the gift shop was both way too long and way too short. The fuck was he getting himself into? In all this time there'd been basically nothing and he was way too self-conscious to like- All these people were way out of his league.

Still, he went. Course he did. At worst, he'd end up with a giant friend and a guy like that was always useful in a fight, 'specially to be a distraction for the smaller ones like him.

When they got there, he slipped to the far back where the clothes were, chewing intently on his lower lip as he flicked through things.

There were sewing kits up near the front and he could steal scissors for a little bit from Iggy. He didn't think the guy would mind so long as he brought 'em back.

Piotr, for his part, had no idea what was actually happening. He hoped he knew, but how many times had he been wrong about intentions before? He'd lost count years ago.

Whether it was the language barrier or the general ineptitude at flirting, it didn't really matter. Either way, it usually left him disappointed.

So, he wouldn't get his hopes up (or at least that's what he told himself).

Instead, he would be happy that he may have made a friend...and try to ignore the way Mac's teeth worked over his bottom lip.

Looking at the sewing kits, he eyed the tiny needles skeptically. "Do you think they make beginner sets?"

Piotr gave the kits a wary look but shrugged away most of his doubts. He'd helped save the world, after all, sewing shouldn't be daunting. The worst that would happen is that he would fail and waste a bit of fabric, right? It had nothing to do with the fact that he could potentially look very foolish in front of someone he... someone he really didn't want to look foolish in front of.

"Fiddly? That is not word I know, but I am sure that you do not need to apologize." He gave a gentle smile and took a drink of his own.
